QAA Institutional Review 2013

The Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) reviewed the quality of the University's teaching and learning in March 2013 (18th to 22nd). The QAA review Team made the following judgements:

  • Academic standards at the University meet UK expectations for threshold standards.
  • The quality of student learning opportunities at the University meets UK expectations.
  • Information about learining opportunities produced by the University meets UK expectations.
  • The enhancement of student learning opportunities at the University meets UK expectations 

 The was published by the QAA in June 2013. Following publication, the University produced an action plan. The QAA Institutional Review 2013 Action Plan with Commentary [DOCX 27.36KB] sets out the University's response and provides an update on progress.

The University Self-Evaluation Document (SED) and supporting evidence was submitted to the QAA on the 19th December 2012. The SED was drafted in consultation with º£½ÇÉçÇø Student Union (USSU) sabbatical officers, Directors of Teaching and Learning, other academic colleagues and professional service staff.
