How can I copy a meeting in Outlook?

To make a copy of a meeting (complete with guests etc) to another date, do this:

  1. Right click on the meeting in your calendar.
  2. With the right-hand mouse button held down, drag the meeting item on to a new date in the calendar preview at the top left of the Navigation pane.
  3. Release the mouse button and then choose Copy in the pop-up menu.

Depending on the number of months visible on the left, you can copy the meeting up to 11 months in the future. The images below show an Outlook calendar view with one, two, and four months visible in the Navigation pane. You can alter the view by dragging the calendar pane to the left or right, and up or down using the drag bars as shown in the first image (hold down the mouse pointer anywhere on the lines indicated by the red dots in the image):

Outlook calendar showing one month

Outlook calendar showing two months

Outlook calendar showing four months
