2254How do I transfer an e-book to my iPad?
If an e-book is published on a website, the easiest way to transfer it to iBooks is to:
- go to the website on your iPad and tap the link to the book
- tap Open in and choose iBooks
The book will then open in iBooks and will be saved to your Library.
Alternatively, if you have downloaded the book to your computer (as a .epub file), you can use iTunes to transfer it to your iPad:
- open iTunes and from the File menu, choose Add to Library
- navigate to the ebook file and add it to your iTunes Library
- connect your iPad to your computer and sync it with iTunes to transfer the book to your iPad
