1390Can I use my own laptop with the installed data projectors in seminar and lecture theatres ?
Yes, all seminar rooms and theatres with data projection have a separate VGA and/or HDMI fly-lead and/or HDMI available at the podium to enable you to connect to your laptop, in order to project data and audio.
Mac laptops and tablets require a proprietory adaptor (usually supplied with your machine). Consult your user manual for details of how to output your screen through the projector.
If you need access to the internet via your laptop, you will need to have registered your laptop in advance for eduroam (see FAQ 1152).
